Tocqueville Society
The Tocqueville Society is an elite group of generous local leaders, deeply connected in Northeastern North Carolina. These individuals are passionate members of the community who lead by example through gifts of time, talent and treasure to further the mission of the Albemarle Area United Way.
The Tocqueville Society is named for French Author Alexis de Tocqueville, a 19th century diplomat who applauded the American desire to take a personal role in the advancement of society by combining philanthropy and service.

The AAUW Tocqueville Society is seeking members who will:
-
give at the leadership level of $10,000 per year or more;
-
build relationships with other distinguished Society members; and,
-
have a strong desire to make an impact in our community.
Together, we can further our mission: to build stronger, healthier communities across Northeastern North Carolina.
